I don't know where to start!

The first thing that you need to do is make a plan of all the rooms or areas that you need to work through and pick one to start on. Not everything can get done at once. Think about how long everything took to get cluttered, it will take time. I would suggest working your way around your home starting with easier areas, such as your bathroom and bedroom, first. Work your way through each room until decluttered, and then move on to the next. There is a Simplify Your Home checklist on the Resources and Printable page that you can download and print.

Another thing to consider if there is one area that you know getting sorted will have a big impact on your life (such as your office area if your bills and paperwork are not being dealt with not time) then you could start on this area.

Once you have decided where to start. You just need to schedule some time to dive in and work your way around this space. I know it is easier said than done but you just need to get started. There is rarely the 'perfect' time.

It doesn't really matter where you start - you just need to make a start somewhere.
